CREDIT CARD REVIEW
BPI Sky Miles Mastercard
With a minimum monthly income of PHP15,000.00, BPI Sky Miles Mastercard is the most accessible out of all the credit cards here.
Note that although it’s the most accessible, it’s not our pick for the starter travel credit card, and that’s because the BPI Sky Miles Mastercard is co-branded through the partnership of BPI and Delta Airways.
The miles that you accrue for Delta Airways can be used for all of its partner airlines—those that are part of SkyTeam and a few other partners that they have. The pool from which cardholders can choose from is small, but there are a few gems here and there…

Points and Miles
The BPI SkyMiles Mastercard only earns SkyMiles. SkyMiles can be used for Delta Airways or any other SkyTeam airline member. The miles you earn don’t expire and are transferable which offers a bit of flexibility.
This is a simple travel credit card that is aimed for people who are flyers of Delta and SkyTeam. Though the point-to-mile ratio isn’t all that great, it’s still a pretty useful card for a handful of people—those being avid flyers of Delta.
It’s worth noting that the premium version of this card, BPI SkyMile Platinum Mastercard doubles the miles that you earn—which is a decent upgrade to this seemingly bland credit card.

Our Thoughts
With a minimum monthly income of PHP15,000.00, BPI Sky Miles Mastercard is the most accessible out of all the credit cards here.
Note that although it’s the most accessible, it’s not our pick for the starter travel credit card, and that’s because the BPI Sky Miles Mastercard is co-branded through the partnership of BPI and Delta Airways.

We can’t say that we recommend this card, as there are far better ones out there, but this is definitely a good starting point.
